Biking Biking Biking

+Laurence Andrews already posted about our latest biking escapade. I’ve made a point to go more days this week than last, and so far I’ve equalled my current stats.

50 Mile Goal Is 40 Complete

Went out yesterday and today, and rode for around 5 miles each day. Today I thought it was a really awesome idea to ride down a country lane. That was really a farmers track. Bear in mind it has been raining all morning.

iPad for Students

I get really bored when people tell me that my iPad is useless and I shouldn’t of bought it. Apparently I can’t use it for anything productive at all. Well, the thing that this sort of person usually gets wrong is that they think the iPad (or any tablet to be honest!) can take the place of a laptop or desktop. It can’t. It wasn’t meant to. If you can find good uses for it, then buy one; if you can’t then don’t!

Android Applications That Are Awesome

This post is mainly for my friend Jack’s benefit, since he has finally gotten up to speed with a new HTC One S. You might find it handy too, though. What follows is a run down of the applications that I use on my phone on a regular basis.

Catching Up With My Ipad And Other Assorted Crap

I’m quite happy to have my shiny (sort of) new iPad. No, I don’t have an iPad (3rd Generation) or a ‘New iPad’ as everyone loves to call it. Android O2 Mms Settings

My Samsung Galaxy S2 has been failing to receive picture messages (MMS) since I flashed it with CyanogenMod a few months back. Not a big deal, but it was kind of annoying. No amount of fiddling with the APN settings seemed to help, and I was at a loss.

3ds Circle Pad Pro Review

I have pretty big hands, because I’m a pretty big guy. I love my DSi XL for this reason: it’s the most comfortable handheld console I’ve ever owned. I played three hours straight of Dragon Quest on it the other evening. The 3DS is completely different: it makes my hands cramp within half an hour of playing. This is more prevalent in games that use the shoulder buttons such as Mario Kart 7, than it simpler controlled games such as Pushmo.

Day 5 Of Reduced Caffeine

So nearly a week has passed with energy drinks! I did have Lucozade Cola at lunch today which apparently contained 0.012% caffeine or some small amount but I’m not going to count that. I didn’t have a red bull or monster, relentless or rockstar! Pretty proud of myself! I’m actually pretty tired now which is nice, time to go read a book (A Game of Thrones!) or play a game (Dragon Quest IX!) before I crash.
