Week Notes - 2026-22

Another week?

Our portable aircon saved us last week. Yes, I saw the Technology Connections video. I don't care. They work well enough for us to take 4-5 degrees off a room before bed. As the saying goes: Don't let perfect be the enemy of good!

Amongst all the heat, and sun it turns out I forgot to go outside for the most part. Working from home combined with laziness is a bad combination. This week it'll be much cooler, so perhaps I'll make it outside at least once!

I started the second Phoenix Wright game in the Ace Attorney Trilogy on Switch. I really like that they added Story mode to this game as it means I might actually finish it this decade.

We also played some Golf with Your Friends on the TV together. Perhaps jumping into the 'Worms' levels as our second course was a bit too much. Tons of fun though. And with the news that Witcher 3 is getting another expansion in 2027, I thought I'd reinstall it and give it another go. I did the first few story missions, and haven't been back. It still didn't really click with me. Maybe I should try a 'god-mode' mod, and "play for the story". 🤫

On the book front, I am well into the seventh Dungeon Crawler Carl book. Not much to say about it except that it's difficult to put down when it's time for sleeping.
