Saturday January 1st to Sunday January 9th 2022
This week derailed… fast! I started off well on Monday by smashing my rings but by the time Tuesday rolled around I was stuffing my face with tasty tasty Indian food. Oops.
Wednesday started strong with a decent Ring Fit session at 7am, but that was pretty much the end of my activity for the week. Thursday to Sunday was swallowed up by a trip to see the in-laws before work really ramps up over the next few weeks and months, and I did not exercise for those three days. Double oops!
Obviously this meant my Apple Watch fitness stats for the week weren’t great… Gotta smash these out of the park next week! On the plus side, I now have a workout bench and 30kg of weights to use at home! I’ll be working them into my daily routine over the coming weeks.

On my other goals, I read about a third of Fellowship of the Ring, and should complete it in the coming week. Gaming wise, I got sucked into a new playthrough of Ocarina of Time on 3DS (which I still need to actually beat!), and started on The Great Ace Attorney on Switch which is super fun. I set a target of 5 hours, and managed to beat that soundly.
This week I’ve managed to start getting to bed consistently at around 10.30pm which is setting me up for 8-10 hours of sleep. I’m feeling the most rested I have in years, and will try and keep this up.
